I am sure few of you have already visited the beautiful Montenegro where you can find great scenery very similar to the Norwegian Fjords or New Zealand or Chile Fjords — the difference is made by the welcoming people, great food and warm climate.
The City of Kotor is very famous for its history and fortified city walls.
When visiting for the first time you will be impressed by the walls, you have the impression that you are a movie star from Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings! After visiting the old city you will be surprised by the quality of restaurants with great local and international food and drinks.
But if you visit Kotor several times you will want to look for other ways to explore this beautiful place.
My last trip to Kotor was one of the best. You need to try the adventure of riding a speed boat out on Kotor Bay, it is gorgeous. On the pier you will find multiple offers including the size of the boat, itinerary, tour length and extra services. The offers are very diverse starting from 30 euro per person till 150 euro per private boat.
After looking at all my options I finally decided to take an offer – and I’m so gad I did. The shiny new speed boat looked impeccable, 7 seats available (depending on your luck you can ride for the same price with fewer people). I embarked on a 3 Hours Tour on Kotor Bay visiting their most famous attractions like Lady of The Rock Church, Submarine Tunnels and the most beautiful place, the Blue Cave.
Included in the price was free WiFi, free drinks like beer, water or juice and swimming in the Blue Cave! Paired with the charming guide, this was a tour was one of the best I’ve ever been on. All the offers sound great but the most important thing was the price – only 30 euro per person. This meant only 10 euro per hour in a luxury boat with only a few people on board, with all the attractions included, free WiFi and free beer to complete the day!
When you next go to Kotor a speed boat tour should be high on your to-do list. It leaves you feeling free and enjoying life. You will feel like Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic, the ‘King of the World’!
